The goal of this task consists on illustrating what is known as “representativeness heuristic”. Kahnemann and Tversky (1972) define this phenomenon as the tendency to make a judgment on the basis of the global resemblance between an object and the prototype of its category, instead of making the judgment taking into account probabilistic information.
